Jack Knox Clinic-August 14, 15, 16

We are happy to announce that we will be hosting our 8th Jack Knox Stock Dog Handling Clinic after great success the past seven years, and this year we will continue the third day. Everyone seems to take so much more home with the extra day, so we will keep it on the schedule. Adding the extra day allows more time for intensive group discussions, extra emphasis on training dogs, and extra emphasis on learning how to “read” the livestock, not to mention the great friendships that are developed.

The clinic will consist of three days instruction by Jack, where you and your dog will learn not only during your allotted time with Jack, but will learn even more by watching and listening to the advice Jack gives to other participants. His method is unique, and will help all levels of both handler and dog.

Jack, originally from Scotland, now lives in Missouri, where he and his wife have an extensive dog business and sheep operation. He is a successful national and international trainer, breeder, and trailer, and is one of the most popular clinicians in the country. It is no secret, I am proud to call him my mentor and great friend.

The cost of this 3-day clinic will be $265/dog. This fee will include the cost of the seminar, lunch all days, and refreshments throughout the day. If you wish to simply watch Jack’s (not enter a dog), there will be a spectator fee of $20/day ($60 for the full clinic). The spectator fee will also include lunch and refreshments.

Please make sure that your dogs are fully vaccinated, and understand that by entering this clinic, Green River Livestock and/or any other persons involved with the clinic will not be held liable for injury or damage to your property.

The clinic will begin at 8:30AM and will end about 5:00PM every day.
